Got kids? Then you better get “CUTTING”.

Forget the knives. They are dangerous and time-consuming. Grab a pair of kitchen scissors and snip, snip, snip. Works great for pizza, pancakes, veggies, fruit or cookies!

parenting tip

The best parenting tip I ever learned was to CUT my kids food with scissors. So simple, and yet there I was with a fork and knife. Making food into small pieces to prevent choking is necessary, but not always fun.

We have a pair of kitchen aid scissors that fit in a magnetic sleeve. We use these scissors for food ONLY. It’s kept on the refrigerator and used every day.

Not only does this tip save you time, it makes it EASY to be super mom and create fun shapes with food. Easily cut sandwiches into stars, hearts or simple triangles.

Creating bite-size pieces isn’t only a safety issue, it might be necessary to entice your tot to eat. Many little ones are picky eaters (I have two of them) and meal time can be saved by tiny, fun finger foods.
