When you’re cloth diapering you’ll need a designated station. Why? Because cloth diapers are bulkier than disposables, and they’re a heck of a lot prettier. Not only are they functional, but you may want them to be displayed.
I’ve got around 80 cloth diapers in my diaper stash. I’ve cloth diapered three children (including twins).
Over the four years I’ve been obsessed with cloth and we’ve had a few different organizational methods for our diapers. Drawers, shelves, boxes, bins, etc. But our most recent has been kitchen cart. A Raskog Utility Ikea Cart.
Cloth Diaper Station
I use this cart because it’s on wheels, and it’s sturdy. As soon as our cloth diaper laundry is done, I stuff our one-size pocket diapers, and then stuff them into the cart
I organize them into rows in the cart. Loose hemp prefolds are designated to the second shelf. I use these to stuff for extra absorbency when needed. Or they’re perfect as burp cloths.
I like that this cart is on wheels and can be moved around as needed. Plus when we are finished with cloth diapering, it will be a fantastic craft cart!
